THE WAKING ALLEY Signs With HIGHWAY 36 ENTERTAINMENT

New Jersey-based hardcore/metal band THE WAKING ALLEY has signed a deal with Highway 36 Entertainment, LLC. The group will head into the studio this fall to record its debut album for a January 2009 release exclusively through iTunes and other digital online stores . The CD will also be available at shows as the band hits the road in support of the album.

THE WAKING ALLEY will play shows throughout the summer and fall as well as set up additional tours in the spring of 2009.

Highway 36 Entertainment, LLC is a heavy metal/hard rock record label based out of Monmouth County, New Jersey. According to a press release, Highway 36 "the first all-digital record label that provides 'artist care",' which [includes] health benefits with dental, 401k plan, retirement assistance and more to all artists under contract.
